When it comes to celebrating a christening, creating a magical and memorable experience is at the top of every parent’s list. What better way to achieve this than with a Winter Wonderland theme? Imagine a setting straight out of a fairytale, with snowflakes, glittering icicles, and a serene ambience that captures the essence of winter.
We beautifully showcased a Winter Wonderland theme with lilac, white, and mint green elements at the beautiful grounds of Ottimo House in Denham Court, Sydney. Our palette focused on white, various shades of lilac, and mint green with touches of silver.
Styling Elements on the Day
Balloon Arrangements
Designed with our Balloons Supplier, Balloons by Agustina, we created clusters of double-stuffed balloons in lilac, mint green, and white with added snow effects to complete our winter look.
Cake Area Styling
A clear plinth was used to display our stunning cakes by Panda & Co., which perfectly executed our design with extra details we loved.
Extra Styling Elements on the Day
We added magical touches to enhance the experience for the kids. Starfruit Design customised gift boxes with delicate snowflakes and winter trees, personalised with each guest's name. Each box was unique, creating a thoughtful memento for attendees. We also had a white jumping castle by Castle Club, elegantly styled with a cascade of soft pastel balloons from Balloons by Agustina, providing endless entertainment for the little ones, ensuring the celebration was filled with joy and laughter.
Fresh Flowers: To add texture and elegance, we incorporated white roses, baby’s breath, and winter greenery dusted with faux snow. Flowers by Ohara provided these beautiful elements.
Graphic and Signage
Starfruit Design illustrated our beautiful custom-designed trees and the “Winter Wonderland” directional sign, adding a personalised touch. Our acrylic double-layered name sign, later used in her nursery, was provided by Letters by Lou Lou.
Props
The balloons framed our beautiful white willow arched backdrop supplied by Ace Props, adding height and a natural wintery feel. Fairy lights enhanced the room's ambience, and a white fur rug added warmth. A white chiffon backdrop provided a soft, elegant look, highlighting the props and creating a great canvas for the overall look supplied by Fairytale Events.
Table Centerpieces
For Maya’s Winter Wonderland-themed christening, we aimed to capture the essence of a magical winter landscape. Arrangements of white roses and baby’s breath were complemented by candle holders with floating candles, creating a cozy winter evening feel. Each vase was adorned with delicate snowflake embellishments, adding sparkle and magic to the table setting.
The alternating centrepiece featured a whimsical white sculptural tree adorned with hanging glass baubles containing delicate tea light candles. The tree’s base was surrounded by clusters of baby’s breath and white roses, enhanced with faux snow to complete the vision.
